At Maxwell we provide an educational environment where comprehensive strategies promote growth, participation, and positive change in our school and extended community. We insist on excellence and success for all. We embrace the state standards and prepare all students in academic and vocational classes for the Regents. Our graduates are self reliant because they attain both a New York State Regents based diploma and marketable career skills. At our core is the belief in literacy for all. Reading and writing skills are essential.

We embrace technology, and the study of social studies, science, math and the vocations. We increase opportunities for self expression through the visual and performing arts, and physical education. Here at Maxwell High school we prepare students for the remainder of their lives. All special needs are met, and Our staff provides do their best to be positive role models for our students.
